What is a Patient Portal?

The Patient Portal is an online tool that goes a step beyond simply displaying information. It can help YOU manage your health care easily and securely.

 

Where does my health information in the Portal come from?

All the information you see when you access the Patient Portal comes directly from your Optima Foot and Ankle electronic medical record. The Patient Portal provides you with easily accessible and up-to-date medical information in a summarized format.

 

How do I login to the Portal?

Follow the hyperlink in the email that you will receive from our office. You will be given a username and password. Once you have logged into the Portal, you will set up your own username and password.

 

Is my information safe?

Yes. Your information can be accessed online only by you or specific people you have given permission to, such as family.

 

What about my email address?

We do not share your email address with anyone else unless you have given your permission to do so. Your email address is used only by you to login into the Patient Portal.
