FAQs
Should I let my nail technician know if I have a medical condition, allergy or disability?
Yes. We request that all clients fill out a health questionnaire that will ask for all the necessary information. Please make sure that you document any conditions that you may have.
Should I bring my own instruments and/or supplies?
No. It is our practice, here at Optima foot Spa, to use our own medically sterile instruments and suppliers for each client visit to ensure your safety.
What is the difference between a pedicure and a massage?
A pedicure involves detailed nail and skin care, soaking and massage of the lower leg and foot whereas a massage involves soaking and gentle kneading of the muscles and tissues of the lower leg and foot without any detailed nail or skin care.
What is a Pipeless Chair?
Our Pipeless chairs have no pipes or air chambers to collect residue which breeds harmful bacteria. Pipeless pedicure equipment is quieter than other types of salon spas. Jets are removed by hand for easy cleaning and sanitization.
Does insurance cover pedicures or any services listed in this brochure?
No.
POLICIES
Scheduling
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for a stress free check in. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment we may alter your pedicure to keep us on time for other clients or ask that you reschedule. Please book your appointment in advance as our schedule fills up fast.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards may be presented at the time of your visit. Optima Foot Spa will not be responsible for any gift cards that are lost.
Purchasing Gift cards
Gift cards may be purchased during normal business hours by coming into our office or by phone. We can then send the gift card to either you or the recipient or hold it at our front desk for you to pick up at your earliest convenience.
Payment Methods
We accept VISA, Mastercard and personal checks. There will be an additional $30.00 charge on any returned checks.
Cancellations
24 hour cancellation notice is required. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at your earliest convenience so we can accommodate others on our waiting list.
Adult Environment
To maintain our peaceful spa environment, the spa is reserved for adults. No children under the age of 12 are allowed unless they are receiving service.
Courtesy
To enhance the stress free environment of your spa experience we request that you turn off your cell phones or put them on vibrate mode.
Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice.
Gender Equality
We offer all of our services to both male and female clients.
Gratuity
If you are happy with the services you received, you may offer your nail technician a gratuity if you wish.
